Hi all, new to this site. I picked up a dagger today at an estate sale. Looks to be well made, vintage of 50s or earlier. Back story on the original owner is he was a USMC pilot post WWII, Korea then training for VN. Not sure if it is military or not. The only marking on the blade is "Victory". Blade is 7" long, overall length is 11 1/4". Bolster and guard look like brass, with handles that look like caramel bakelite. Can't seem to post a pic.

You will have to find a host for your photo, check the stickies in the tech help subforum for help.
Photo hosting is kind of a pain these days.

1- Go to www.imgur.com
2- Click on "New Post" at the top of the Page
3- Select "Browse" then navigate on your computer to the location of the image you are trying to post.
4. Click on the picture and then click "Open". Wait a second. The picture will upload to the Imgur Page.
5. At the top you'll see a link similar to "https://www.imgur.com/a/12345" right click on that, and click "Copy Link"
6. Then paste that link into the thread. (Right click into a new message and select "Paste")

People can use the link to check out the picture.

Open an account at Imgur
Upload your pictures to your Imur account
Open your account page and you will see thumbnails of your picture
Click on the appropriate thumbnail and you'll get a larger view with several link options on the right side. Use the second from the bottom, the BBCode link, click the box that says copy.
Paste the link in the forum response dialogue box, the picture should appear when you use the "preview post" button.
Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/9gFS19jm.jpg[/img]

becomes this
