I just recently got my Kershaw Guy limited edition JYD 2 in CPMD2.
I took the knife apart, polished the blade, liners and washers.
It is extremely smooth now.
But one issue I still have with the knife is that the detent seems weak when compared to other flippers.
What are my options to make it feel more robust?
Can I install a slightly larger ball?
Ceramic?
I have also heard about drilling out the detent hole some so that the ball goes deeper into it.
Any help or advice is much appreciated.
