Looking to purchase a new grinder

I have a kmg 10 and I have been using it for about 5 years or so.
I am planning to add an ef-48 edge finishing grinder to my shop. Do you think I should order on with a variable speed motor or not and why?

I am waiting to hear what you guys have to say.

Well I went with the variable speed and I have been using it for about 3 days. It is fast becoming one of my favorite tools in the shop.
