Looking to purchase a vintage watch

I am considering treating myself to a vintage watch for Christmas. Anyone have recommendations on watch and best place to shop?

My guide lines would be

Price $175 to $300 range. Is this price range a pipe dream?
Condition used, good to very good?
round face medium size 35mm ?
manual wind or auto wind
manufacture year range 1940 to 1960 give or take
water resistance would be a plus
Leather band replaced or original a plus
Swiss made movement ?
military style would be considered

the used section here has some good finds.

http://forums.watchuseek.com/index.php also has a pretty wide selection in the sold by user section. It is also a good place to surf around and see which style you prefer.

You shouldn't have any problem finding something in that price range.

I couple of sites you might check are Girard's and WatchCat. I don't know much about the former, the latter has a good reputation.
