Looking to replace my first Benchmades...

The first serious folder I ever bought was a 975SBT and I just treasured the thing. I know you're probably all choked up hearing "first blade" stories so I'll spare you the Kleenex and myself some embarrassment and wonder aloud where I might go if I wanted to lay hands on another one in decent shape. Couple years later I saw a Boguszewski Spike, (can't remember the model, it was the bigger one, uncoated blade and partially serrated, black anodized handles that scuffed easy) sitting in a knife shop for ninety bucks and I knew it was a hell of a deal, and cherished that one, too, crispest action I've ever felt and the little bastard was sharp enough to scare me for the two years I had it. Then on one of the saddest days I've had, a plot was hatched in my trousers for total knife liberation, and it decided to make a run for the hills along with a Kershaw first-run Onion AND an early-sizties USAF-issue auto with a foldout chute cutter* into the brush at a CO state park.

Now as unfortunate as this experience was, I'm positive no one swiped them and I scoured the area for five fruitless hours at daybreak. That's been some time ago now, and I can laugh at it, but I'd really like to replace both the Benchmades. I've seen a few Spikes around but the 975 is elusive. Anyone care to venture a guess as to where I'd look and what I'd spend?

* I can't remember what the mark on the blade was, but this was a really weird knife and probably worth more than me than anyone else. It had a weak mechanism, with a safety, but no retention mechanism, I guess it was an "unlocking assisted-opening". The roughed-up handle material was that fake-stag pattern, and a kind of neon red. The blades were both chromed or really highly-polished, mirror-finish, and it had a lanyard ring on the bottom that for my purposes served as a kind of guard against accidental opening since the safety was busted. Anyone ever seen anything like that?
