Looking to see a Sebenza in person (West Virginia)

So I've been looking at buying a "high end edc" for quite a while now and never really took the task seriously until lately.

After much debate and reading, I've settled on a select few options. Highest on my list is a Sebenza, and in particular a small due to the carry laws in my state I'm limited to a blade under 3.5 inches.

My only holdback is never having seen one in person, and I'm not the type to commit to something I've never fondled.

I've been in the long range shooting game, the USPSA shooting game, and now am trying to get away from the gun games. Reloading powder is non existent or simply too expensive....$400 knives seem like good deals to me!

Anyway, I know there are no dealers in my area...but I was hoping you all could point me to a place that may have one to look at? Any members in the Charleston, WV area?

Newgraham in Bluefield sells them. I know it's not exactly close but you can handle them and select the exact one you want.

This is not the absolute best option, but if the dealers near don't have any you could always pick one up off of the exchange. If you like it, great. If not, you can resell it for minimal loss.

I hope to get down to Bluefield soon, but work hasn't sent me there since last year....hear it's a great shop

That may likely happen...considering I've been pondering trading some stuff for one as well..

Also I will be in Houston in a few weeks. Any good places to look down there? I usually hit up Collectors Firearms, but I didn't see any CRKs on their website.

I know Collectors Firearms carried them in the past but never showed them on their website. Best to give them a call.

Come on down to Bluefield. We have around 100 Chris Reeve knives IN STOCK just waiting for new homes.
Regards, Mike @ New Graham

I may have to stop in next time I'm on my way to the beach. I go right through there and it never crossed my mind.

From Charleston, it'd be about a 2hr ride down I-77 to get to Mike's place. Well worth the trip, even if you have to do it on a day off. I know there are some other members here from WV. Don't know where they are in WV, though. I'm in Atlanta, but I'm from southern WV 'round about the Princeton / Bluefield area.

I was lured into looking at high-end knives for the very same reason, ammo cost drove me away from gun games, and compared to what I was spending, a Sebenza was reasonable.

I don't know Mike, but I am a very satisfied New Graham customer. I've purchased several things from them over the last few years, but here is my most recent experience...

In May, I called and asked a question about their current stock of Emerson CQC-8's. The girl that answered was extremely pleasant and professional. She thoroughly answered my questions, and then when done, offered to place the order over the phone. I don't know how many times I've called different online retailers to ask a question prior to ordering, only to be told that it's easier for THEM if we hang up and I place the order online. Anyway, she quickly pulled up my account, verified my order, and said the knife would go out that day. As stated, I received a shipping email within a couple hours. Excellent CS all around, and prices to match.

At this point, when I'm shopping for a new knife or just want to poke around, I look there first. In fact, it was the first place I went to looking for the Sebenza 25, but they were out of stock. Can't say enough good things about them, and the bandaid dispensers are a nice touch that has come in handy a time or two in diaper bags, the truck, and my wife's purse.

I've had very similar experiences with NGK as the member above.
If your looking for good people to deal with you could do MUCH worse.

I used to own 36 acres right by the New River Gorge, spent the last 15 years or so deer hunting there- beautiful country. !
I still have lots of family there, hope to make it back soon. WV is like no other place I've been, it's always calling to me.

My first chance to drive down would be this weekend, but being the holiday I'm guessing they will be closed...not to mention I want to be as far away from beach traffic as possible. 77 will be a log jam come Thursday.
