Looking to visit a local forge.

Hi folks,

Im looking at getting into forging and knife/axe making as a hobby or more. Something adjacent to my daily welding fab job. I was hoping to find someone or somewhere near the Tacoma, Washington area who has a forge night on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday that I might be able to visit and shoot the s with. Thanks all.

Welcome, Tom. I'm going to suggest joining the NWBA - North West Blacksmith Association (blacksmith.org) and start attending their mentoring center meetings in Longview. I'm sure there's a few smiths in the area.
If you can afford it, take a class from Dave and Andrea Lisch in Yelm.
