It was brought to my attention that a great new knife book is now out (released this month!). The title is "Art and Design in Modern
Custom Folding Knives". THis book covers work by amazing artists like Tim Herman, Dr. Fred Carter, Elishewitz, the Appletons, and many more. If you liek folders, if you like art, if you like knife embellishment, it looks like this book has no equal. Check it out here!

I for one can't wait to check out the 8 pages on Tim Herman- he's da man in my books for knife embellishment! I showed my fiancee a pic of a knife he did with a color engraving of a butterfly and she wanted it! Anyone got a few thousand bucks to lend? :) Go check out that book!
 
I got my copy the other day from Paolo. It's an amazing book if you like art folders. Well, or even if you don't. It has the highest quality printing of any knife book I've seen.
 
It's a great book, they really did a nice job putting it together. I got my copy at ECCKS and had most of the makers that were at the show sign the book. I'm even thinking about bringing it to Blade Show and have some of the missing makers sign it. Even if you're not into Art knives, but are still a Knifenut, you need this book, This book will convince non-knife nuts of the true potential of the custom knife.
