Dann, were you at my house while I was at work today??? I came home and found this on my kitchen counter. As much as you cut yourself, it seems like definitive evidence that you were here while I was away. I don't even think you've ever SEEN a picture of my wife, but you just had to come on over anyway!! Hope you got hurt before you did anything really bad.

Actually, my wife sliced herself open pretty good on the lid of a soup can that came through the trash bag while she was taking the garbage out. Got her patched up pretty good and think she'll be fine, but it did look pretty bad. She wouldn't let me take pics of the actual wound:grumpy:

Sorry to hear your wife hurt herself, hope she heals well and quickly.

On the other hand, glad to hear it wasn't actually glockman...

That can't be MY blood...Otherwise it would be blue, rather than red.:D.:D.

Thanks guys, yeah she'll be fine. She told me last night she's worried about having a Franken-finger from now on though:D Before I was even able to say anything she said to me, "I know I know, don't EVER push down on the garbage with my hands!! I don't need a lecture right now!!!" Naturally I kept my mouth shut:o

Thanks,
Jon

Wow,
My wife happened to already have a regular doctor appointment this afternoon, so she showed him the cuts from yesterday. He didn't like the looks of 'em one bit. He put three stitches in one and about eight in the other. He said I did a pretty good job of closing it up with adhesive strips, but when he took the strips off the blood just started flowing again big time so he went for the needle and thread. The antistetic(sp?) has now worn off and I've got one unhappy woman on my hands!! At least I know she would never kill me in front of the kids;)

I'd say you must have done a good job patching em up by the sound of it! Seems like every time I go to see the doctor he looks at a new scar and says "you should have gotten stitches for that"

I did the same thing a few years ago, got to be careful pushing on garbage bags. I spent 6 hours in the Emergency room while the non injured folks who get their medical care at the emergency room went ahead of me. It's amazing what people come to the Emergency room for, colds, headaches, etc. and they bring their entire family. Well I guess it's cheap entertainment.
