Looks like I screwed up (-or- how short is a short run?)

Well, looks like I screwed up. I was looking at Busse HR a few weeks ago. I liked it (I thought it was gorgeous, and thought it would have handled swiftly as opposed to some of the other blades I've seen that look, well, unwieldy), but it took me a while to pick the right options and to figure out some (handle size, material, etc.) Then this business trip came, and I figured, okay, as soon as I get back... you know the rest. I just looked at Busse's website. HR is gone.

So I wondered, how come the runs are that short? Is it purely arbitrary, or is it that there wasn't enough interest in that knife to continue it a little longer? Are the runs usually the same length, or do they vary from knife to knife, and is there any indication ever posted on any of the official sites (Busse's company site, Busse's forums) as to when the run will terminate?

I suppose I want to learn for the future if I ever notice another one that I like.

Go to the Manufacturers Forums here at Bladeforums and join in on the fun at Busse Combat Knives Forum.
Tell them I said you can't have my Nuclear Ice Pick so you want to check out the rest of their knives. :D
Okidoki... I have no idea what that means, but perhaps someone does.

Jerry or Blue Label always let you know when time is about up for ordering but all is not lost as the company store usually stocks the 4 top selling combos of each model. they go fast too so check often.

Shortly after they start shipping to those who ordered one, or ten, they will ship some to the www.bussecompanystore.com where all who missed the first go around will have another chance to buy one, or ten. :D

Just keep an eye out at the Busse Company Store.

Yu're only screwed if you cant parlay that $$$ into a war boar. Here's what I'd do: Get two war boars, then trade one for a Razor. As the man says, "Well, it IS a tactic...".

The problem is, I am congenitally incapable of buying something I would have no use for. Call it a flaw in my makeup. That's why I suck at investing. And no matter how hard I think, I cannot come up with a single non-contrived scenario where I might possible use a war boar.
