Yep, sent off the registration and paid for the airline tickets, so I'll be doing the Spirit of Steel Knife Show in Mesquite, Texas - a suburb of Dallas, on Sept 28, 29 and 30.
This will be the first show I've attended in the USA - and in my hometown, too - so I'm excited. It looks like they have a good crop of makers lined up already, so I hope a lot of Forumites will come round and say hello. More information about the show is available under: http://www.jbrucevoyles.com/knife.htm
Now if I can just get some more knives finished before the plane leaves the ground... I know the airlines have rules about carrying knives on board airplanes, but does anybody know if it's ok to MAKE knives onboard an airplane? I mean, in case I don't get things finished in time, maybe I could wheel my grinder onto the plane? "Coffee, tea or D2?"
