My parents asked me what I want for Christmas, and after doing some lookin and askin, I decided on a Case Stockman. My dad just placed the order for an Amber Bone Med. Stockman, with CV steel! Cant wait for Christmas!

Congratulations...probably no more versatile pattern.

When I was a kid I field dressed deer with my old Case 6332 before I knew you were supposed to use a bigger knife. :)

I'm gettin' a little mistey-eyed. It reminds me of the time my dad found a Schrade OT8 for cheap, bought it because he can't resist things that are cheap, and gave it to me. And the second time he did, not remembering the first. And the third . . .

Me likey Stockman pattern, especially when the blade are high carbon steel.
 
The 6318 medium stockman in cv is a real classic,you will be amazed how much cutting you can do with it.the thing i like about a stockman is the ability to use the correct blade shape for almost ant job,and cv is really good steel.
 
That exact same model was my first traditional. If you're anything like me, it won't be your last by a long shot!

Nice, love the Amber bone medium stockman. I have one in SS but been itching to pick one up in CV.

No way, you can't be serious.....everyone knows you need a knife at least the size that Rambo carries for such a task as that.:D I'm glad you didn't know any better, I like your style!:thumbup:
