Looks like Maxpedition put out a knife that's actually really nice looking.....

Nice looking but if I'm paying over $50 for a knife, no frame lock or liner lock, thanks. It is a bargain compared to other knives with similar design and materials.

All these frame locks in the $200-$300 price range are

There are so many folders on the market now, but few truly unique designs. All are a little different, maybe good knives, but not particularly innovative in design.

Looks really simple, I like it :) HRC 58-60 seems just a little low for D2. I wonder how their heat treat compares to others, and how D2 acts at that HRC. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will clue me in soon.

Looks nice, but there are other knives I would rather have at the price point of the large, like the PM2, a blackened Manix 2 XL, and others...but if street price is lower than what's on that site, we might have a real bargain on our hands.

I'd be interested to know more about the design collaborators and manufacturing sources....it almost looks like Alias II with a FFG, KAI OEM (opening stud, ZT clip design), made in the Sage II factory.

Might I add - it looks amazing at that price point. I'll let ya'll know when mine gets here. :)

Please do.

Cutlerylover on youtube has one and is going to do a review soon. Looks like a really smooth knife.

Yeah, looks good!

I have been waiting for the official release of these for a while.

I figured that they were made by Kershaw because of the thumb stud being the slanted version that was originally used on their Blur model and then used on some Kershaws too.

$120 for a taiwan made knife. NO WAY!

You see $120 for Taiwan, I see $120 for D2 and Titanium. I prefer my made in Taiwan Spyderco Domino over any Golden made Spyderco I've ever handled. Country of origin doesn't matter, manufacturing processes and tolerances matter.

Was never interested in any of the MaxPed knives before but I agree, this one looks nice, I will look forward to seeing some reviews. I would have liked a blade opening rather than the thumb studs and an acid bathed stonewashed finish.

Looks good. It does look Blur like.

Products made in taiwan are made for profits, not quality.

You mean like the Domino, the Gayle Bradley, and the Southard Flipper? Ummm okay. You don't get much better quality for their price point. Please do not post garbage like facts with no real evidence except a warped mind. Thanks.

Odd. The build quality and F&F of my Taiwanese Cold Steel blades is far better than my American made knives. The value is better, too. Maybe I'm just imagining things.

Knife looks good. Can't wait to see some reviews. Might have to give the smaller version a shot if the initial reviews are good.

Also as far as the country of origin goes, if the quality and materials are good then I am not concerned where it comes from.
