Well after my wifes ultrasound today they told her to be back tomorrow at three for a steroid shot for the baby's lungs. Apparently he is all well and healthy, but his abdomen is not growing like it should to keep up witht he rest of his body. She was told more than likely they will go in and take the baby on friday instead of waiting until the 29th.

Oh well, his sis was this early and she waas just fine, just wanted to share a little good news.

I've got a little guy on the way next month. My lady's fluid was a bit low to start, but it's caught up now sow it's all good. Hope things go well for your little one!

Grats man. Enjoy the time while they are young. They grow up too fast.

Mine will be 24 in May. She served as a Navy Corpsman and will graduate as a Registered Nurse in August. I am very proud of her. Also engaged to a good guy so I should see grandkids in a couple of years.

Congrats! The last few days of waiting are the worst. I'm sure everything will turn out just fine, modern medicine has gotten pretty darned good at taking care of babies. Might as well get some sleep while you still can!

Just a quick update. Just left the doctors and she has decided she wants to try and wait another week to let him grow a bit more. So right now we are just keeping our fingers crossed.

I have a 9 year old godson who was early enough he needed a steroid shot in utero and spent his first night in an oxy tent to finish drying out his lungs - and he's perfectly healthy.
