I'm usually a fan more of the supposedly "tactical", modern style of knives, but looking through the drawer, this always puts a smile on my face:

"Why do you carry a knife?"
Why, to eat with of course, good sir.:)

Ooooo nice grind on that s30v spoon, do you free-hand it?

Good-lookin Imperial you've got there. I've got one or two Imperials I've found hidden away over the years. Sturdy, inexpensive cutters.

Looks good. I could imagine keeping something like that in my edc bag. *waiting for someone to post their Case Hobos."

I've always wanted a Hobo, shoulda got one when they were still affordable to me.

USA Imperials are becommin' scarcer, (is that a word?) because they were so affordable they were generally used till destroyed, even mint samples of some of the Made in Ireland knives are gettin' harder to come by.

I think that Imperials will become the poor mans collectible in the near future.

I've got one like the OP. Take it with me every time I go camping.

I think proper English would be more scarcer. :D

I'd like to have a neat old Hobo knife too. Don't see many around at all.

The hobo is a very strange but attractive pattern I dunno what degree of practicality they have but I'd love to own one some day just for the sake of owning one but the Case are a bit out of my price range.

I have the same Case "Hobo". It's a Big knife, very thick, but i really like it. According to Mr. Levine the correct name is "Slot Knife".

This is in the category of so uncool, it is cool. (Like an AMC Gremlin...)

I likes me some hobos, too.

does anyone own one of the AG 'hobo' models? They look to have very nice fit and finish. How easily does the case hobo come apart to use for meals?

Maybe so, but the box it came in said "Hobo", so that's what I'm going to keep calling it. Mr. Levine can take it up with Case if he wants.
