Well

During the extravaganza all I could score was a couple of Busse aprentace blanks that were heat treated.

so here is what I did

1. sharpened them on my 1" grinder, then fine diamond stones, & then fine ceramic stones. Razor sharp

2. next I took some of the brown kydex & made single thickness scales for one & double thickness for the other.

3.Took some luminessant powder & filled the hollows of the aluminum post then sealed it with super glue.

4. Lastley made some cool chocolate brown sheaths for them.

Never seen kydex knife scales before (another buy brown first!)

Here are some pictures.

Sheaths = yes

Knives = nope sorry

Those are GREATNESS! I like what you have done to them.
Thanks for sharing.

Cerberus. :)

I like the glow rivit idea. i might have to try that.

I've cord wraped one of mine, leaving me the option of change. The other I haven't done anything with yet.

I'm lovin' the glow in the dark effect, that's really neat. I made my folks a new kitchen knife, using a kit I got from knifekits.com, and debated doing something like that. Now I'm regretting not doing it. Those came out sweet.

where can i get some of that glowing powder stuff??? Looks like Tritium!! i LIKE it!! Killer knives too bro. Keep up the great work.

S.S. out.

That is interesting.

You're always suprising us, and I love seeing what you're up to.

I'm not sure how well kydex would work as a handle material but I guess time will tell. It is innovative, though, and really ties the knives in with the sheaths. I do love that chocolate brown kydex! I'm gonna have to send some INFI your way again soon.

PS--can your supplier get coyote brown too?

Cool! I have two of the blades, too. One for me and one for the person who gave me this other one. I'm on my third attempt to fit some scales on it. We decided to keep the coating intact on the spine of the blade and handle, so I';ve been trying to fit the scales without doing any sanding after they're on. Bascially impossible, but I'm on my third set of scales and I have a good feeling about it now! :D
