I EDC an Inova X1, and I'm a little concerned about the battery. It doesn't exactly fit snugly into the light, and it's beginning to show wear around the ends. Is this a concern? I'm a little worried that the battery may wear through and leak. How can I remedy this? (I'm thinking of something as simple as a layer of electrical tape around the battery itself, to make it fit more snugly)
 
The CMG Ultras had the same problem.

I solved mine with a 1/2 of a small sticky note wrapped around the battery.

Maybe that will help in your case also.
 
Write on a small piece of paper:

If found please return to:
Your name and address

Then wrap the paper around the battery.
 
I've always used masking tape to make a rattly battery fit snugger. I wouldn't use electrical tape, because the rubbery grip might make removing the battery difficult (especially if it's too tight, and the tape snags and binds).
 
If you are like most of us, you receive numerous "return address stickers", and since they are slightly thicker than regular paper, might do well to tighten up the battery, as well as have your name and address on it. I have my laptop and accessories well posted with these, both visible and inside various places.
