Loose crossguard! What should I do?

The crossguard on my old Ka-bar has a little wiggle from heavy use. It's not a huge deal, but I'd rather have it tight. After browsing the internet, I saw that some people were advocating Locktite. What do y'all think?
 
I would be inclined to push the guard fully forward against the ricasso and then fill the gap between the handle and the guard with standard epoxy, not the 5 minute stuff. This way you can wiggle the guard to allow as much epoxy as possible to saturate the crack. Hang the knife by the guard, handle down, between a couple of boards for a day and Bob's your Uncle.
 
Can you get a pic up? There are options on what can be done to repair your knife.
 
Honestly, there's so little wobble that you couldn't tell from a pic. I can just feel it in my hand, and I'm picky. That's great advice, A.P.F. Thanks.
