I EDC a couple of William Henrys. Over time the pocket clip on one had become loose. Although I knew it, I continued to carry it. Today I reached for it after lunch and it was GONE! I retraced my steps, including a nearby convenience store. Fortunately for me, someone had picked it up and gave it to the clerk. Knife recovered, lesson learned. Don't carry a blade with a loose pocket clip. Better yet, stick with one made of titanium where such problems are more rare.

So glad it was recovered!

I once lost my William Henry Gentech. The clip was fitted for jeans, and I was wearing thin slacks. I only realized it was lost long after leaving for home from a restaurant. After a 4-hour trip, I got home and didn't find the knife in-pocket. That's a terrible feeling, to realize that such a beautiful and expensive piece is gone. I called my brother to have him check at the restaurant, and it wasn't turned in. :(

Fast forward about 2-3 months, and I'm vacuuming out the van and discover the knife dropped down in between the center console and the driver's seat. A miracle! I've not carried it without a sheath since.

Luckily most of my pocket clips are tight, but I do have at least one pair of pants that are particularly thin and I specifically carry my CRKT Drifter with those because it has such a tight pocket clip.

o to the nearest Walmart and pick up a tube of blue Loctite, and for goodness sake, loctite those clip screws!!:)

Holy moly...faith in humanity restored! Glad to hear it ended well. I lost a Sebbie with a tight clip.....go figure. Was not a good day. :P

Need to do something with that knife. It's not the screws that are loose but rather the metal clip just stretched. Need to remove and bend back to tighten. WH are nice knives but some have cheap stainless clips that get bent out of shape.
