It seems my pocket clip on my XM-18 doesn't have as much tension as it used to. It's been sliding out of my pocket in the car and such. Anyone have any good advice got creating more tension or do I gave too buy another pocket clip?

Make sure you screws for the tab are tight, if they are then you may try to bend tension back

You could remove it, secure it in a vise and put a bit more bend in it. It should bend without too much trouble.

One of the sandblasted XM's I've had before rode a little loose in my pocket, and I wanted to adjust the tension in the clip to be more "comfortable". Since it was a blasted finish, I took a long skinny piece of a paper towel and wrapped it around the end with the screw holes before I put it in a pair of vice grips. I was able to bend the clip with my other hand, while holding the vice grips in the other.

Worked pretty well, so there's an option for you. I'd probably do the same on any finish, but hey that's just me!

Take the clip off. Put it back on the knife turned 180 degrees and put the screws back in. Bend it by hand. Then put it back how it was to begin with. BOOM! Your done. :)

^ Bam son...there ya go. Probably the quickest way right there. Thanks for the tip Jensen!
