I just bought a Stainless Cricket on the internet (not easy to do a comparison) and one of the screws is loose. It is the screw that the blade tang rests against when the knife is in the fully open posistion. The screw appears to be fully tightened down, but the post that the screw is mounted to floats in the handle. There is a flat on this post that looks like it should fall against the tang in the open posistion, but it does not, the blade tang hits on the round section of the post. If any of this makes any sense at all, to anyone, I would appreciate your help. The knife seems to function perfectly there is just that one loose post when the knife is closed.
Thanks, Mike

I've just got mine today. Sweet knife all the way. Got the same issue too, will get a right size trox screw driver to try to fix it tmr. Did u fix yours yet?

I have one that is the resident pass-around Cricket and yes the screw is loose. I have completely disassemled, lubed and re-assembled the knife and the screw/post still moves. The knife is still rock solid though, so it doesn't seem to have any adverse effects.

Got a #6 Trox screw at the Home Depot today and fixed it. And as for that particular screw (the one which stops the blade when opened). It can't rotate freely from my observation cuz the shape of the hole on the handle which takes in the screw is not a full circle but it has one flat side instead. (So does the pin).

Btw, I do like this knife that I can actually take it apart totally and assemble it again by myself. Sorta like building a model. :)
