Loose thumb stud...

The thumb stud on my new Lone Wolf T1 is loose. Anyone know how I can fix this myself without sending it in?

It's disappointing. I really like this design, enough to have two versions of this knife, but Lone Wolf's quality control is really spotty. Anyway, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,

Gus

You could try some thread adhesive otherwise, I'd send it back to Lone Wolf or better yet, exchange it for another knife. I had a Lone Wolf T1 a couple of years ago that was a disappointment too. It's a shame their QC hasn't improved much. I like the T1's design too, but until Lone Wolf improves their QC their knives will be nothing more than overpriced Gerbers to me.

Exchanged it for a Bark River Huntsman w/curly maple today. Too bad LW can't get their s#!t together.

Every Lone Wolf knife I have handled at local brick and mortar shops has been a piece of shit. I wouldn't pocket their knives even if I were given a free one.

WOW!

I guess it is good that you are now happy about the situation anyways

Same with the opener on the Bark River. No pivot maintenance, either, and not a bit of blade play. :)

The experience with Lone Wolf really makes me appreciate companies like BM and Spyderco that really nail their designs and production standards for a reasonable price.
