Well I have been checking the SOG seconds list for several months hoping that they would put some SEAL Pups up there. The new list went up yesterday and there it was! I called this afternoon and got Loretta, and they did have soem left, so it is on the way:cool:

Also, I finally got to speak to the legendary Loretta. She was a pleasent as everyone else has reported. I thanked her and told her how great it was to actually speak with her after hearing so much about her here. I think she was very flattered, and told me that some of you have called Customer Service just for the opportunity to speak with her:D (You guys should really get a life;) )

Anyway, another SOG on the way, and I guess the Revolver will have to wait.
 
Hey Scottsman,

I had the honor of hiring Loretta into the customer service department at SOG and having her work closely for me over a period of about a year and a half. She’s bright, highly competent, very knowledgeable of SOG’s product, has that necessary passion for knives (and the great outdoors), and doing a great job holding down the fort now that I’m no longer at the helm. Though she didn’t officially get my job title (Consumer Services Manager), my salary, my "office," my manager’s chair, or the significant perks of being a manager at SOG, ;) she’s certainly the de facto department manager and doing a dang fine job! :) I couldn’t think of a better person than Loretta to handle SOG’s consumers! She's one-in-a-million! [But of course, you all know I was one-in-a-billion!]

More of you guys need to call her to "chat" ... Warning: You won’t get off the phone without buying a knife! :D
 
Loretta has always been exceptionally kind, courteous, helpful, and prompt at all times. That is certainly one reason SOG has kept me as a customer.

I,too, have to second all that has been said about Loretta. We usually have a conversation once a week. My wife is beginning to get very suspicious.

Mine was too, until Loretta called to ask about my knife order...:footinmou Then my wife was sure!!! LOL!!!:rolleyes: :p ;)
 
I am glad to see Loretta has all these admierers. It is not normal to find customer service that is courteous, helpful, and prompt and has a face. Perhaps that is what makes SOG so respected, that folks like Loretta and Ron give a personal "face" to the organization in addition to the corporate identity. That is why I will continue to buy SOG products, so let's hope that very changes:D
