I've discerned that for the state of california you may carry any size folder as long as it folds. And you cannot carry any form or balisong or auto unless the auto is under 2"? In regards to fixed blades you cannot conceal carry any of them. Now my question is, i've heard there are different county laws that don't match up with the overall CA state laws; therefore, in the L.A. county area what are the specific folder laws?

I beleive it is a 3" Blade limit, must fold, must be concealed when not in actual use.

Here is a link that will either confuse the issue or at least make you scratch your head. The reason Burbank and LA adopted there own law is to stop gang bangers from carring large fixed blades and intimataning(spl?)people on the street. http://home.earthlink.net/~jkmtsm/citylaw.html
