I was so impressed with the redbone Marbles Teardrop Jack that I bought recently, that Sat. when I found this little one buried on a shelf in a knife store I had to buy it.

It's a 2001 Marbles (Queen) English Jack in Stag.

Wish I had a knife store around to find things like that. That is just as pretty as can be! Much prettier than pictures on dead presidents on green paper.

Very nice!

YOu really need to stop showing these pictures... I've gotta go pay $365 tomorrow to get some work done on my car... and now I want these knives.

Then I shouldn't mention that this one has good old fashioned carbon steel blades also?????? :D

That is just not fair !

I have also got to spend money on the car.... what a drag. Nearly $1000 just to get the suspension bushes fixed.

Knife buying will be put on hold for a few weeks.

I honestly feel for you guys, I cracked my radiator about 6 months ago and had to fix it....right about then it seemed like every knife I ever wanted showed up in the "For Sale" forum....AAAAAGGGHHHHH

TLC,

That knife is just one gorgeous slippy! Nice stag, carbon blades w/match stiker pulls!.. Does it have half stops as well?

Who is making these knives for Marbles now,, Is it David Shirly and his crew?

Yes, it has half-stops. I believe Dave Shirley was involved, these were made in 2001 by Queen. DLT Trading Co. still has some in their closeout section, http://www.dlttradingcompany.com they have some of the Red Bone stuff, but not the Stag. Smokey Mountian Knifeworks lists some of these also, but it's my understanding that these were assembled later from parts and the quality is not as good.
