I've been away from the forums for a few weeks...

My old man was diagnosed with cancer two weeks ago and passed away 5 days later. Needless to say, it's been a rough couple of weeks.

I cherish my own Beckers as it is, but I also acquired his BK2.

I will honor his memory by putting the BK2 to good use, and his spirit will be with me during my adventures.

Love you and miss you, old man.

So sorry for your loss man. It's a weird feeling and takes a long time to fade even a little bit.

Sorry for your loss.. I lost my father in similar fashion and still have his original buck 110 that he gave me that I plan on passing down to my son. Not to sound like a cliché but Just remember as long as the person you've lost is in your heart and memories, they're never truly gone. Cheers!

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Sage advise. Have fun with your old mans blade and remember all the great times with him while you do.

Sorry to hear about your father. Tough time, for sure.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Your old man will be smiling down at you from Heaven every time you pull out that BK2.

Alex, I'm very sorry for your loss. I think using his BK2 is an excellent idea and shows great spirit on your part.

There is no easy way to lose a loved one, but take comfort that at least he didn't linger and suffer for a longtime.
Condolences on your loss.

Sorry for your loss, it's nice that you'll have something of his to take on treks with you now. I'm sure he'll always be there in spirit.

Sorry to hear about your loss.
I never know what to say to someone at a time like this.
Sorry.

Sorry to hear this - have some adventures with that knife. Condolences from Concord.
