I lost my Esky on the river yesterday, but today when I went home the USPS had brought forth patrol machete goodness!

Hey before I forget, has anyone else made a kydex or leather sheath for the patrol machete?

Got to play with the the BK6 today. To me it looks like a Machax that's been straightened out. It handles very easily and light despite it's size. I think this may be due to it's lack of thickness compared to other BK&T's. Sorry no pix today, but I used it to clear some briars and a few 2-3inch thick trees. Very easily done! I like it! Now about that dang sheath.....

probably leather would work well for that as well.

even wood - i've seen some NICE wood scabbards.

Good point, scabbard! I'm in for a kydex and/or leather really. I think I would destroy a wooden scabbard.
