Somewhere along my travels from home, to work, to lunch, then back to work; I lost my Spyderco Manix 2 XL. Scoured the car, work, prarking lots, everywhere. First one I have lost. At least it wasnt my Sebenza. Comming here and looking at knives makes me feel better though.

Hope y'all had a better day than I did.

My condolences. What were you doing when you think it may have fallen out of your pocket? All my Spydercos have decent clips and I've never had a problem with security, although I do have rather smaller knives unlike the Manix XL.

I stopped at the gas station and when I got out of the car, I thought I heard something fall, but I looked around quickly and didnt see anything. I went back after work, but nothing. Asked the attendent and no one had returned anything.

Man that sucks. I've not had that happen to me yet and I hope it never does.

You'll soon have a new echelon though

I lost my zt 300 similar way. But I used it as a opportunity to get a knife that has quickly turned into my most favorite knife I have ever owned....for edc. A ti milli.

So if you don't fine it use this as chance to try something diffrent!

You're the man! I am looking forward to throwing that bad boy on the wicked edge. That deep hollow grind with a nasty edge should be a cutting machine.

I hope it turns up for you. I lost a Delica last month, fortunately it's the only knife I had more than one of. I'm still looking everywhere I go.

First knife I ever lost was a Victorinox Huntsman.... Sucked because it was my first knife ever. My friend found it and gave it back to me recently, man was I happy. It had been lost for a few months, and it was like losing a best friend.

So you lost your Manix 2 XL, terrible! You can no longer be trusted with your knives, send me the Sebenza! Seriously, if I miss place one of my folders my heart sinks, I have always found them. Hope you find it.

Check under your foot mat. Seriously. Was sad to have lost my Native 3 Spydy. After a few months when thoroughly cleaning my car I found it under the foot mat of the passenger seat. No idea how it could have gotten there.

Sorry to hear. Did you use a flashlight to look under your seats and mats..pretty easy to kick something without noticing it.

Probably it dropped where you got out of your vehicle, recheck those areas. 30 years ago I lost my money clip with $80 or so on a range trip..retraced all steps, last was where I'd parked my car at the range - clip and cash lying in grass.

Best.

Try to think of it as MIA, I've had knives misplaced, (MIA) for up to 5 years, I'm still looking for my small custom David Winston drop point lockback. Never give up... :)

Hope it does up

Fingers crossed. I lost my Benchmade Lum Dejavuu (SP) out bear hunting. That might have been my favorite knife.

Sorry about your loss. I once lost a crappy CRKT and I searched for a week but I finally found it at a diner of all places. Don't give up the hunt

Appreciate it everyone. I have double checked my car and drove back down to the shop. No luck. Oh well. If someone has picked it up, they got a great pocket knife.

Sucks that you lost your knife. I hope you find it if not I hope something better replaces it. Best of luck. Cheers and Happy Holidays
