Heard the news today that we lost another great maker, Mr. Larry Harley passed away last night. Here are a couple of his pieces I own/have owned over the years. If you got some, post 'em in remembrance. RIP Larry!!

I spent a great weekend at a hammer-in at his place back in 2005. He was at his best then, giving back to others.

Larry: BIG. Look at how much fun we had! (There are some real knifemaking talents in this pack!)

He was a 'hillbilly' and wouldn't ever say otherwise. WHAT a character. His 'Battle Bowie' design is legendary. (I never shot one to show you.)

I was enriched by his acquaintance.

I just saw his son's post about this on Facebook. He was a great guy and I enjoyed getting to know him.

Larry designed some knives for Paragon Cutlery including the Harley Battle Bowie. I was working PT for them and got to know him at the 1996 SHOT Show.

I hated to hear this. Larry and I had a lot of good times.

Sad to hear that. He was a fun guy and a dedicated ambassador of the knife making craft.

It's always a sad day when I hear that another knife maker has passed. RIP Larry. Condolences to his family.

RIP, Larry. You were one of a kind. Hope there's good moonshine wherever you are.

R.I.P., never met Larry but did talk to him a few times in the '90s. I remember him making me a knife that I gave as a gift.

I was shocked when I saw his son post about this on Larry's Facebook account. Sure will miss him.
