It's always a great day when you find a Buck you thought was lost and today I found my missing Lil'Jack! As most of you know I collect rare,odd,1 of 1 and basically any oddball 112's and I particularly like SK's D2 112. I asked Stephen to pick me out one the oddest one months ago to put in the collection. When I was picking a 112 for David Dowdy to put Custom handles on the D2 was what I wanted him to work on because as far as I know it's the only D2 112 Buck has ever made. Couldn't find it anywhere! So I ended up sending him a Custom by Leroy called the "Raptor" with a modified 532 blade. In the meantime I ordered one of the last Lil'Jacks from SK and sent it to Texas for custom Oak burl handles..So my Daughter and family just moved back in with us and when she was clearing out a china cabinet for them to use she found my missing 112! I have no idea how it got in there and no box or shieth was found but I'm glad one of my missing 112's has reappeared. After the 2014 Blade Show over a dozen of my most valuable 112's including the last Custom Shop 112 from 2008 or so and a spectacular twin blade 112 were gone.I was so bummed about it I quit active collecting till about 8 months after the Club Copper and Carbon fiber 112 came out. Ive built my collection back up and will be at the 2019 Blade Show and display my 112's again. Isn't it a great day when a missing Buck is Found!
