Haven't posted here in quite awhile but thought this might be of interest.
Around late 06, my last remaining Seb slipped from sight. Could not find the bloody thing anywhere. Today much to my delight it was discovered under about a foot of dirt in my back yard. I have no idea how it got there, but after well over a year underground , only very small amount of rust on the blade. Disassembled, washed, a tad of CR
grease and she is ready to rock. It has been a good day.

I guess that means it was meant to be for you and your Seb. :)

BTW, that's appears a crazy blade shape for a classic, and I like it! A testament to the stay power of the Seb to be buried alive and still ticking...

Professor.

I'm glad you found it, but yeah, what's up with the blade shape? Or is it just the way the photo took?

The shape of the blade is a result of extremely hard use and the imprudent application of abrasives to tidy up scratches and nicks.
Previously I had accumulated a dozen-or-so high end Sebs but would never use any of them. They seemed more like art then tools.
