I lost my Seal Pup while I was diving for lobsters last week in Ft. Lauderdale area. Came home with a few nice 2 pounders but I am still miffed about the knife:mad:

I want to replace it with the same model, but I am thinking about getting a seal pup revolver to use (I don't need the saw underwater, but it would be nice to have for land uses too).

What do you all use for diving and what is the best way you use to strap them on. I have a couple of rubber straps that I use on my leg, but they didn't work with the kydex SOG sheath the Pup came with.

The knife was attached to my weight belt and I had it on the wrong part of the belt and it must have fallen off when I undid the buckle. Stupid mistake, that I will not make again.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

I think the TINI model SEAL Revolver would work very well as a dive knife (or brushed stainless) as long as you rinse in fresh water after your dive.

I assume you do this any way with your knives.

The SEAL Revolver would work just like the pup....... and then later the saw would always be there if you needed it for camp things etc.

I used a seal 2000 for water rescue work. I attached a few straps to the sheath and now it is a drop leg sheath with quick detach leg tiedown straps.

Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) sells "cinch-it" straps in different sizes. They work great on my SK2000. (Obviously with the belt attachment removed.)
