I lost my lg. Reg. CRK about a yr. ago. I looked everywhere I could think of

and couldn't find it...I didnt give up on finding it thou.

I just noticed I have a burned out headlight today. I went to the large

Indian basket where I have some headlight bulbs and a pair of binoculars.

When I picked up the second package of bulbs there was my long lost

CRK. If I Didnt Have A Burned Out Headlight I Woundnt Have My CRK Back;)

Lets hear some stories about finding your long lost knife.

i teach at summercamp and the counselors have wooden palettes underneath the old canvas wall tents (which suck during a texan summer) and i lost an old beater knife i had, i think it was from rite edge, a cheapo but still it held an edge well enough. i lost it during the first week and had to revert to one of my gentlemen folders which did not make me happy since im cutting rope all day long, but at the end of the camp my friend found it and ive kept it back home ever since too much sentimental value i suppose, plus i have other beater knives to try

i lost one of these, and it was gone for months. One day i was going to get on my motorcycle and found it. It was wedged somewhere between part of my exaust and frame. The handle is melted on one side but it still works.

I missplaced my BM mini Dejavoo...I know it's around here somewhere but can't find it. I ended up buying another one to replace the lost one.

last spring at some point, I thought I lost my Spyderco Dragonfly.....looked all over for it with no luck.......then, in September, I quit smoking.....that first weekend that I was trying to quit, I was dying for a smoke so I started looking thru all of my coats, jackets, sweatshirts etc for a pack of smokes I may have inadvertently stashed away....I did not find any cigarettes, but I did find my Dragonfly stashed away into a zippered coat pocket....also, I have stayed smoke free since then, four months ago (9-15-10)

I just found a Laguiole that I haven't seen since around Thanksgiving. In the pocket of my Barbour. I have more than a dozen coats, so I am sure a lot of MIA EDC gear is floating around in some pockets.

A coworker of mine, not a knife not per se, lost his damascus William Henry for more than a year. He found it in a coat, or pair of trousers, I forget.

The feeling of finding a knife you think you lost is so good it almost makes the anguish of thinking you lost it worth it.

I have been missing a gerber gator for 14 months. I have no idea where I put it.

I am too, been about 12 months for me though. No idea where I put it, and I meant to give it to my cousin this past Christmas, had been my scouting knife and wanted it to be his too.

I had lost my 112 for a month, had no idea where it was. Then I was working on my car popped open the glove box and there was the sheath I never put it in, went to move it and noticed it was heavy. Turns out my Dad had put it away for me. :D

I lost my Kershaw Junkyard dog2 6 months ago and just found it a couple weeks ago.I had gone on a car trip and I always throw a few extra knives in my stuff here and there when I go on trips , I must have forgotten that I had trown it in my laptop bag. I was quite upset about the loss as I had just drilled and tapped the handles and flipped the clip to tip up and put a mirror edge on it .

A few months ago I found my Buck Solitaire I lost for almost 6 yrs !!
It's amazing when and where things show up.

I lost my Vic. Cadet in September, and I found it on Monday under a pile of frenchfries under the seat of my car. :barf:
