Happy 2011!

So I was reminiscing about some of my lost knives... the total is too numerous, but just the lost clip type folders... Calypso, Delica (twice), Terzuola Spyderco in original aluminum scales, Temperance Leaf, Sere 2000, Boye...

Some I found by going back and searching, but I don't clip knives anymore! Gone forever are the Delica, Terzuola, Caly...

I'm really active, often upside down or crawling around or in and out of vehicles, scraping past rocks, in boats, in the water, through trees and brush.

Ooh other lost knives... to the cops when I was a kid, my bayonet through the lake ice, a stag Ruko my mom gave me, sak after sak, a Puma that slid off my belt when I took a pee ( I actually bought that one in Solingen) ... oh the pain! The pretty little pearl slippy from my grandmother...

Sigh. Tell me I'm not the only one.

I've lost one knife... I don't know how the hell you can lose so many lol

Carry IWB. I don't see how you could lose a knife like that if it's under your shirt and the clip is underneath your belt.

I've only lost one knife -- a spanking new Endura -- back in the mid 90's on a day hike. Still pisses me off. . . .

you need a paracord lanyard to attach your knife to your pants! lol

never lost a knife i didnt find again.

Man, you've got really bad luck. I've lost one knife, a Spyderco SPOT micarta PE. I had it attached to my backpack but removed it because I had to fly somewhere. When I got back, I couldn't find it, and that was 4 years ago. I thought I lost my Tasman Salt, so I bought another. I found it in my chair cushions the day the new one came in the mail.
