Lost Mountain Iron Works - Back in business

Welcome back.

I still have one of the tan footlong hog specials you made for a group buy years ago.

I definitely need a J. Holmes for my NMFBM.

I read on your site you have ideas for a machete cover and axe sheaths, when do you expect to have those designs out?

Do you have any sheaths for a 9.5" long 5/16" thick knife? That footlong seems like it would be too long.

The other products you referenced are definitely in the works. I have a few prototypes but I haven't quite gotten it right. But I will. As to the Footlong question, the liner on a Footlong is 11 3/4 OAL. We need the 3/4" at the bottom for the grommet which holds in the liner. It's designed to hold a 10-11" knife. So at 9 1/2 it'd be a good fit. I'm just about to add additional items to the website such as extra liners, etc. let me know. Thanks.

I'm liking the looks of these, glad they're back.
The Johnson should fit the 3/16 Ratweiler without an issue right?
I know the footling will fit SRKW M9, but that can wait.

I have one of the sheaths you made for the special busse run a few years back and it is a great quality product.

Anyone know if they are still in business?

He hasn't been on here since February and his website hasn't been updated in quite awhile.

I saw the thread pop up, and started looking at the site before scrolling through...couple of potentials for me.
Have you tried emailing?
(While the last post on the site was June 12, he did say he was going to be out more than in through the summer; and that things would get back to normal in the fall)

I just looked at their website and saw that there is a pretty much perfect sheath for my incoming INFI Dog Soldier. I hope he comes back soon!
