Lost my 25....

....and then found it again !!!

Honestly I am not sure how I managed it. My 25 went MIA for most of the year so far. My last absolute 100% (because I have a picture ) use of it was in December 2021 when I took it trout fishing. I was sure it came home and I am "almost sure" it went in my bag for a hunt in March. I was convince that if not actually lost it was probably in the bottom of a bag I forgot to empty and check properly or it was somewhere (like my camera bag where I just found a Swamp Rat) else "safe".

Anyway I was not yet distraught but mildly concerned. On the weekend just gone I speculatively checked the draw in my knife cabinet where the CRKs reside. Low and behold there was the 25 nestled in between the 21 and the Zaan where it belongs....I have NO recollection of returning it here, none whatsoever. Maybe it put itself away.....

Haha, in my experience finding a long lost knife can be just as great as getting a new one in the mail

Well, when my 21 went missing, I panicked right away. It stayed gone for about a month until I was packing for a trip and found it in a bag I usually bring. Could have sworn I put it up when the bag was unpacked. So yeah, the cause for concern is real.

Lost my BG-42 Large Regular in the parking lot of a beach hotel in Denmark. Absolutely gutted when I noticed it gone back home. Called the hotel the next day - it had been found, and they sent it back to me. Whew! God bless Danish honesty.
