Yup! It was stashed along with another knife in my duffle during my trip to the up here North and evidently somebody else needed it a lot more than I did. I had gone into a store for a bottle of water and in the 10 minutes I was gone, the passenger door on my PU was jimmied open and my clothing bag gone through. At least they left me my wool socks and underwear, along with something to cut with, lol.:(

Sorry about that Longbow, the pathetic nature of man is contemptible at times. Hope the thief recovers from his meth habit before it's too late.

May I ask what garden spot you were visiting when this happened? I'll be sure to avoid it in the future.

Sorry to hear that brother.... I;d be happy to send somethign your way if you are knifeless... Though it wont be a custom.... No charge... Just can;t stand to see a good woodsman knifeless, PM me if interested....
I am however glad to see you posting again.

Now you are like me. You don't have a Breeden.
That aside, it always sucks when people do that....
The bright side: a good reason to get another piece of steel.

I HATE thieves. I'm with RR, pm me if you are knifeless. I have too many of them and will hook you up.

The bad part is that he will probably sell it for $20 or $30 because he won't know what it is. Maybe ask someone that works in the area to keep an eye out with a description and offer to pay a reward.

You could play the sympathy card and put up a sign or two, "Lost family heirloom knife, $50 reward if found."

$50 because you don't want someone to think it is really expensive.

You guys are class acts. I get tired of a lot of the BS that goes on around here, sometimes, but it's remembering the generosity (among other things) of some of the members like you, that helps to balance the equation.

Have a good day, guys!

Doc

Longbow you said it happend in the up going north. Is that the U.P. of Michigan? If so where did it happen at? I will keep an eye out as I am familiar with Bryan's work as I own a Breeden. There is one thing in life I can't tolerate and that is a thief. If it was here in Michigan let me know next time you come up this way and I will show you some fabulous spots!

Take care,
Mike

Agreed, but we all knew that about them anyway, I wish there were more people like them in the regular world, BFC seems to be chock full of knice folk, hell ya can't swing a cat by the tail without hittin' one.;):D

RR is a great guy, when I left my cane/walkin' stick on a plane a while back, RR sent me a new one from Amazondotcom.

RR, I still have it and now I use it when I ride the MC, it collapes small enough it fits right in my saddlebag.

I am sorry how ever, to hear about your misfortune.

Hope the balance of your trip went/goes well.

What a punk, I hate thieves, I had someone steal my almost new BM 635 at work a few years back... I just laid it down for a minute, should of known better but I was preoccupied at the time.

My word , I would have been venomous if I were in your shoes.

Man I hope he falls face first on it. If you have a recent pic, I'll keep an eye on all the for sale forums for it.

Oh, if I recall you downsized most of your blades, so drop me a line if you need a blade for the woods! I've got too many as it is. No Breedens in stock sadly!

Dang Long bow, I am sorry to hear you had your R.U.C.K. knife stolen. Man that really sucks.

PM me and we will chat about getting another one for ya?

Thanks RR. Like Doc said, you are a class act. I really appreciate the offer, but I have a couple of Mora's and my trusty Vic, so I'm good to go until I can get the $$ up for another Breeden.
