Lost my CUDA Dominator

I just lost my CUDA Dominator. It had a tanto point and serrated edge. I'm looking for replacements on the web and the only one I found had a $550 price tag on it. Now I'm super mad, not only is it discontinued, but it seems like its value has more than doubled, and I lost it, fantastic.
Anyway enough with the sob story, does anyone have any suggestions as to what knife would make the most identical replacement; i.e. titanium frame/lock, S30V(or similar high end steel, preferably powdered steel but D2, A2 CPM3V etc.), tanto, serrated etc. any suggestions would be lovely. I absolutely LOVED that knife. Thank you to anybody who can help me in my time of need.:(:mad:
 
have the same knife;except dirrerent blade shape.i figured they would increse;happy for your info.i got lucky with that one.great edge holder and fantastist opening.
 
I love my dominator. They are getting tough to find now. Check e-mail for a site that has them still.
 
My fav EDC. I was looking for a substitute the other day. Ended up ordering replacement screws (old male ones rusted a bit, the only negative about this knife), pivot, standoffs, phosphorous-bronze washers from knifekits. I just couldn´t find a same sized knife with titanium slabs and S30V type of blade steel... for under $400.

And try finding a folder with assisted opening, you will probably have to go custom on that one.

Crazy times.

An interim solution might be the new Spyderco Manix 2. I am still tempted by that one. Or I might wait for a sprint run with a more exotic blade steel.

I'd hate to lose my regular Dominator. I've beaten the heck out of it, but it is one of the folders that I have no doubt will be seeing action long after I'm gone. I even ordered 2 replacement blades off of ebay, when Camillus went out of business, and someone was offering parts and pieces.

Assisted titanium frame locks are hard to find, let alone, a tanto. You may want to take a look at Kershaw's Tyrade, or ZT's assisted frame locks. They may not be tanto, but the quality is up there with the Dominator, or even better.

I got a lot of good ideas for a lot of knives that I will be looking into. But I actually found the knife under my buddy's car seat. Talk about stoked, I just found an approx. $300-400 pocket knife!:D:D:D
