Lost my Delica :(

Sad to report this but I lost my Delica at the movies tonight. I searched high and low for it. It must of slipped and fell somewhere. I even had them turn on the house lights after the flick was over!! I've had good times with it. You will be missed.....
I need some serious counseling.

I lost my delica too about a week ago. But luckily I found it again a couple days later. Boy did I miss it while it was gone. Not only is it one of my favorites, it is my first knife. I'm glad I found it. Good luck in finding yours.

Losing a favorite knife can be almost as hard as having a puppy die. At least you can replace the Delica and it will eventually take the place of the old one.Sorry for your misfortune.It's happened to most of us at one time or another.

I know you will miss it, but this is an excuse to get a Calypso jr. lightweight! It will be hard but make the best out of a bad situation.

I had a close call with mine the other day. I was sitting down at the kitchen table and my back was to a window. The curtains were sort of like lace.Later I couldn't find my knife,as I retraced my steps I found it hanging from the pocket clip in a curtain.
Maybe you should get 2 new knives to replace and make you feel better about your loss.

Sounds like a good testimonial for the glow in the dark handles that was referred to in a previous thread.

It would have made finding the Delica in the movie theater much easier

Thanks for the replies. It's time to move on and buy another one!!

The Delica wasn't my all time favorite but it did have more pocket time than my other Spydies. X-Mas is coming up. The Military looks pretty good at this moment.
I hope I never lose another knife.

maybe spyderco should install a homing device to find lost knives, like a paging system when you lose the cordless phone you press te button the knife BEEP BEEP till you find it

That's why I hated the damned plastic clips. I must have lost 2 Enduras and 3 or 4 Delicas because the clips bent.

The thing is, my Delica had the metal clip.

I feel your pain Spirex. I lost a knife(Greco) for a few days not too long ago and I had just gotten it. Fortunately for me it was found by my wife.
On the plus side, at least it is easily replaceable.
