Lost my HEST today!

I went to go help a buddy track a doe this afternoon. He didnt make a great shot, so she ran for a ways. And where did she run to--a nasty thorn thicket. Well after crawling on knees and times and hunched over walking at times trying to get through I noticed my HEST had most likely been snagged out of its sheath my some vines or thorn bushes.:mad:

My question is-Does anyone know if you can buy the HEST alone? I love that knife.
 
That is unfortunate, and I am sorry to hear about it.


One thread about it would have probably been sufficient though...

I had my 3MIL on my hip while taking the kids sledding. Some where along the line it fell off into the snow! I didn't even notice it, but my wife just so happened to see about an inch of the handle sticking out and picked it up. I was relieved she found it, that was a close one.

Infantry? Should have been tied down. Just kidding. That sucks. Alders will do the same thing up here which is why I ended up having to do my own sheath mods so it won't get taken from me.

I know, I know. I've been in 14 + years, think i'd known better. I bet it will be tied down from now on!
 
Wow, that's not cool at all! I guess you can rack it up as an offering to the deer gods in hopes of them giving you good hunting year after year. :D
 
Ok. Now i've walked the path and surrounding area a couple of times now and still no luck. Used that knife quite a bit (along with many other soldiers that i've turned on to Esee) and I'm definately gotta buy another now.

Anybody got a dealer with a good price, or wanna sell me theirs?:)
 
I posted this on the DPX thread for you but I saw one going on ebay for 94 bucks buy it now with 5 bucks shipping. That was yesterday so it's probably gone but give it a look. Hope you get a good deal.
