Well, it finally happened to me. I lost my lefty Inkosi Insingo at work yesterday. No idea where or how. I've been running my day over and over in my head and I just can't figure where I lost it. I was getting real comfortable with it too, it's been in my pocket for nearly three months now. Life goes on.....time for my Zaan to move up to my EDC.

That's life. I've lost a few things along the way, but after the initial sting, I've of course moved on. I remember loosing a SureFire torch years ago. Thought I left it on top of my vehicle one night while working and drove off. A few years later, I found it. It was in my house in the attic. Ha! Luckily, the batteries didn't leak out and destroy the light. I bought a Spyderco Leek and had it clipped to my pocket. Went to a restaurant for lunch. After I left, it was missing from my pocket. Just had it for a couple of days. My wife gave me a gold bracelet for an anniversary gift. It fell off my wrist and I didn't notice. That really hurt.

This may seem dumb but did you look on your seat belt? I'd imagine it mostly happens to people who carry their knives in their right pocket but I lost one and just about $*** myself. Looked all over, retraced my day , and was crushed. Next day I buckled my seat belt and heard a weird noise. There it was! 1 in 1000000 but I'm praying for you buddy.

Man sorry to hear about losing your knife.

I have noticed over the years that even though I really like the utility of a pocket clip, the majority of my near misses or lost knives is from clips getting snagged.

My very first CRK was a Large Starbenza. A couple weeks of carry, it disappeared from my rfp. After a hour of frantic searching, I put on my jacket to go outside, and it was dangling from the liner of the coat, which had picked my pocket likely getting out of my Suburban. Back in my pocket it went, and then I burned the coat in my fire pit. 🤬

Thanks for all the support. After I posted last night it occurred to me that there was one service call that I was on that I hadn't checked. I'm pretty sure I used the knife there. I'm going back after noon to see if it's laying in the boiler room. I hope it's there.

Odd coincidence that I lost my small 21 last Thursday and it was at work as well, fortunately a co worker found it and returned it to me yesterday.
I did not document it in the 1 year thread but carried for 3 1/2 years . Hope that yours will be returned TJH

Man. This why I do two things to all my CRKs: 1.) tighten the clip tension and 2.) make a habit of closing it and re-pocketing it after each use. I've almost walked off without mine many times after setting down after making a cut. I try not to do that.

That is tuff man. I caught my 21 hanging about half way out of my pocket last week. Scared me!
