yeah, just gone. I don't know how, I don't know where. It's got to be in the house somewhere. This is the 4th knife I've lost. First was a Delica, back when they had the integral zytel clips. The clip weakened and it must have fallen out of my pocket while I was crouching down working on a fixture in the middle of the mall. Next was a Random Task. Think I had it sitting in my lap while driving (closed, of course), then forgot about it when I got out of the truck. Third was a BM Eclipse, I managed to lose and recover that knife 3 times before it seemed to lose me for good.

This is why I don't carry customs.   :grumpy: :(

Yikes that sucks. I know how you feel about putting something on your lap when you drive, than getting out and it drops:mad:
Hope you find your LCC

That's why I don't use pocket clips. Damn shame, the LCC isn't being made anymore either...

For future knives might I suggest a REALLY long lanyard...just kidding. :)

Sorry to hear of your loss. What to buy to replace it?????

You check the couch? The only time I lost a knife was when I changed my pants...Yes, they were in my other pants:rolleyes: :D . Hope you find it.

You mean you didn't have your expensive knife properly equipped? :D

I ordered a spearpoint Boye with Photon 3 to console myself. I'll see if I can get a d/a LCC later on when I get some more disposable income.

I have a Saturn that grab's knife's like crazy.Jump in and jump out and no knife go back to the car and there it is siting on the seat. The seat belt, pulls them right out so be careful if you have a Saturn.By the way go right out and get another LCC my favorite knife,it rivals some custom's that I own:D

Ditto stjames. I've had too many clipped knives leave my pocket.
That really sucks about your LCC. I hope it turns up.

Almost lost an LCC when I pushed it out of my pocket against the arm of a chair; fortunately I saw it on the floor before I left.

That short clip likes to catch on things...

Dang, feel for ya, that's a great knife. Ya know the joke about the long lanyard, if I lost even one of my babies I would be tempted to get a lanyard with a clip and clip it to my belt loops...hope it turns up.

I hate to hear about your loss. In the last four years, I have lost or destroyed a few nice knives. like you, I find myself relying on factory knives for EDC instead of customs.:(

Boy do I feel bad for you. My LCC is one of my favorite knives. I don't use pocket clips on any knife smaller than 4" closed as they usually don't want to stay in my pants pocket. I have really taken to carrying 3" knives in my pocket, which is where my Delica rides. Being able to take the clips off folders is a definite plus. I almost lost my full size Calypso PE but it luckily landed on my truck seat.

My son on the other hand has, over the years, lost two or three Victorinox knives, a large Griptilian, Leatherman side clip and a 710 CE that I can remember right now. He is lucky that I love him so much. Now he is carrying a Military that I got him. I try to reward him for doing so well in his second year of college.

No, I will not adopt any of you. My son costs me enough and I haven't even started on my daughter in grad school.

Glad to hear you are drowning your sorrows by buying more edged weapons. That'll do it best!

I buy more knives IN CASE I lose one. I have a BM 520 and it wears out my pocket where the clip/knife rubs. No chance of losing that thing. I mostly carry my BM 732D2 tip up with a small noose lanyard.

Nothing flew out of my pocket like my old Gerber EZ out though.
