:( Ill probably run across it someday in one of my piles of treasure/junk,but i cant find my little knife and must have another.Its a little bigger than the classic,but not much.With a red led light and a ink pen that slides out.Also a phillips screwdriver.I have many knives and multis,but nothing seems to be able to replace the thing.Can you guys please tell me what model it was and the best place to replace it.I think it may be discontinued,so that would mean feebay.That little sucker can do amazing things and cut too.Thanks in advance.
 
Yea,Thats it i think.Mine was just red like a regular SAK.Ive never even heard that name but i think thats it.Powernoodles link said they switched to a white led.That might be a change i could live with.Thanks guys,now to corner one.I think i got mine used for nearly nothing.Had it in my pocket the last 5 yrs or more.Miss it.One simple thing that always impressed was that darn pen would work every time instantly.
 
If you prefer the older flavor with the red LED, they are on ebay too. I know because I just bought one. :)
 
i think the white LED would be a good improvement. i always thought the red one wasn't bright enough

i did miss the toothpick and tweezers though too and just carry the Rambler and another LED light
 
I took a sliding door hinge apart and fixed the lock with one of these little jokers one time.For the size they are amazing.
 
Rambler in my pocket right now. Got it for $2 shipped on ebay. Was considering a manager, but I already have the Rambler.
 
Rambler looks great,but id miss my little ink pen.I didnt know how much i liked that thing till it disappeared.Got my eye on a few in the bay now.Those used confiscated will work just fine for me.Im kinda old and beat up myself.
 
The one in the exchange has a red LED. the price put up there is for the two Vic's together...just make the guy an offer on the midnite manager.

i lost a vic classic this summer too and that sucked enough , but the worst part was the fact that it was attached to my car key which cost around 300 bucks to get replaced by the dealership!!! i hope it turns up!!
 
That's one of the reasons I dont like having my Classic on my key ring.

At work I'm constantly hopping on/off a fork lift truck and I don't care to remember how often my longer keys got stuck behind the seat.
The keys that are as long as the Classic dangling form the key ring.

Just keep in in my RFP if it is my only knife or in the watchpocket:)

For general illumination a white light might be an improvement. However, although less bright, a red light has the advantage of not interfering with night vision. If all you want to do is, say, find a milk dud under your seat at the movies or local a door lock in the dark, the red light is good enough and won't blitz your dilated eyeballs. Attach a micro light (white) to a MM (red) and you'll have the best of everything.
