I've been hoping it turns up as it usually does but its been abuot 2 weeks and no luck yet. I do need to clean my room... if its not in here then its gone.

On top of that, still no word from Chuck Griffin.

I'm starting to feel hopeless about the whole deal.

On top of THAT, theres all these new balis coming out and I don't have any.

Well ok, I have 2 broken Jags (I'm lazy) and a FHM... but they aren't much fun to flip and surely are no fun to carry.

Sorry if I'm so depressing but.. well, this sucks!

I'm sorry, I have no sympathy for you

I pray you don't have children

don't you carry them on you? and if so, how do you manage to lose them? I've known where my two 42's were every single day at every moment.

wow, man, how can you lose your favorite knife? twice?? thrice?!?!?
ooh.

That just breaks my heart man. If it makes you feel any better, I threw a 42a in a lake during a twirl/throw

I love my knife! if it went into a lake I would dive in after it. I have never lost any of my knives. There the one(actually two)

It's in Lake Michigan (one of the great lakes), about 2 miles East of Washington Island. Good luck!

NaTe... Three times, eh? I weep for you.

I lost one of my knives once...but it was a piece of @#*$ that was connected with some lousy memories.

I've still got my favorite, though. Keep it with me all the time. ...I know what my room's like. No way I'm leaving it in there!

Good luck finding yours. Seriously.

Sounds like a personal problem Nate'.

Right now i'm wishing two things.
One...I wish I lived near you.
And two....I wish I was the lucky dog to find one of your lost BM-42's.
I'm not going to preach to you,but if you decide to buy ANOTHER one, make sure your ALOT more careful with it.

I lost my first 42. But that was because I didn't use my sheath andhad it in my back pocket. I always use the sheath now. The most annoying thing to think about? Is that some punk is probably happily playing with the knife I paid big bucks for. grrr!

I carried my 42s with me ALWAYS. No sheath, just in my back pocket. They've never fallen out, except the one time getting out of my car.

The first time I lost a 42... someone stole my first (maybe it was second?) production BM42-S out of my own *&&#@#@ house.

Second time I had my 42 in my back pocket. Was late to work and in a hurry. Parked, got out of the car, heard a clang... I was worried about work and, with my mind on other things, didn't think that my knife could've fallen out. There was traffic right next to me and all sorts of noises. Later that day I came back to my car, remembering the clang I heard... but never found my bali.

And the third time... hell, I don't really know. Cleaned my room spotless... no BM42.

Usually if I don't know where it is, it turns out I sat it down in my room somewhere... usually after absent mindedly twirling it while using the computer (got a couple knife dings in my IntelliMouse Explorer

).

So I'm in the market for a new bali. I guess I can spend the money that was to finish paying off my Chuck Griffin custom ($175) on one of these new balis I hear are going to be produced soon. I'm still pissed I'm out $575 AND my custom.

That's rough man. I had some salvage yard guys steal a bali from my car after an accident. I don't know what kind it was, but I haven't seen one since and nobody can seem to identify it. It was my first too.

I feel your pain.
