First knife I have ever lost. It was getting a lot of pocket time and now it has gone missing.

What a bummer.

I'm thinking that I might be an idiot.

Hey man that sucks! Hopefully it will show up. I've been lucky to find all my misplaced blades so far. Any thoughts on a replacement? You know once you buy a new replacement it'll show up. ;)

Yeah... I'm pretty sure that if I order another one it will turn up. Can't hurt to have two!

That's rough man. I hate that feeling when you tap your pockets and you don't find your knife. I hope it turns up. But another knife wouldn't hurt lol

The last time I lost a knife was about 5 years ago and I found it in my blazer about a month later after I had replaced it. However the knife I lost was a $30 S&W SWAT knife. I eventually gave that thing away. I did lose my $80 surefire E1E flashlight, that was a real bummer.

Sorry for your loss brother. Give it a little time, I'm sure it will show up.

Well, sure enough I found it the day after I ordered a new one. I'm debating whether to sell/trade the new one or keep it as a backup in case I pull this kind of stunt again.

It's not my favorite knife but it's up the food chain for EDC.

The lesson here is: Don't freak out and order a replacement for at least a couple of weeks. Doh!

I once worked for an aluminum wheel factory. We made all of the rims for several car companies. I worked in the machine shop. I was having problems with one of my machines near the end of my shift. The air hose that controlled part of the machine had a hole in it, so I trimmed the hose and laid my Benchmade 940 down, and refit the hose. I got the machine up and running and left my knife sitting there. By the time I realized it and went back for it, some unknown jerk had claimed it for himself. I learned the definition of distraught that day.

It seems like a good excuse to order a new knife, especially if you have to justify it to the spouse. ;)

Yikes! I hope you find that zt and another won't hurt either... :D

My S90V CF millie went missing for about two weeks; I didn't know what to do and then I randomly found it in a stowaway pocket in my EDC bag. I felt a bit foolish, however, was happy to have it back safe in my hands. :o
