What a great feeling. A good 3 YEARS ago my small classic ebony wood inlay Sebenza went missing. Searched and searched but couldn't find it. I was 95% sure it was SOMEWHERE in my house, but just couldn't find it.

While getting everyone ready for a family vacation a week or so ago, my 10 year old son comes up to me and says, "Dad, found this in the bottom of the suitcase I'm using, is it yours?" Woohoo, there it was. :)

Quite dull (by my current standards), so lovingly spent some quality time with it on the Sharpmaker and strop, and it's good to go now.

What a relief. :)

I lost a puma folder for a few years sometime back. was glad to have it back in my hands. I am looking for a one month old Native and one of my favorite knives (the cheap Ka-bar Doizer folder. Its no fun when a costly sebbie comes up missing. Been there and done that. Mine was found in my truck. Wish we were all so lucky as to find all our lost sharps

This proves one thing.........you need to take more vacations! Congrats on the reclaiming an old friend.

I wonder if this means that there's hope that the small Sebbie I left in a cab in Vegas will one day find it's way home?

Good news! What did your son get out of the deal?

Probably this same Sebbie some day in the (hopefully distant) future. ;)

Seriously, though, he's 10 and all geeked that he crosses over to Boy Scouts this next year. Once he does, he'll get a nice folder of some sort, though not a Sebenza...
