Hello,

I sold a large left handed Wilson Combat 21 that is apparently lost at the USPS. I just wanted to see if y’all could keep a eye out since it is kind of a rare configuration being lefty and a WC.

The knife was out for delivery on May 5th and was scanned as no access, on May 8th it updated to return to sender and hasn’t updated since. I’ve filed various lost package and research claims with USPS and they haven’t been any help at all so I assume it lost at this point.

If you happen to see it pop up please let me know! Thankyou!

Buyer was refunded. I just wanted to throw it out there in case anyone sees it pop up anywhere for sale. Thanks

USPS is going through some trying times lately. Ordered a knife from Canada. It made through the port of entry in San Francisco and moved through the system and into Birmingham, Alabama.
The expected delivery date came and went and there it sat in B'ham with no updates for over 2wks.
Tracking status just said 'In route to next destination' (or something like that) and status didn't change, nor was updated by date stamp.

My local USPS manager was no help and an online customer service inquiry determined the package was likely lost and suggested filing a claim.
Since claims can be submitted up to 90days following shipment date, I decided to wait a while longer. Had read that B'ham is/was notorious for letting packages pile up.
Lo and behold, after close to 3wks just sitting in B'ham, the package did move, was delivered, and I have the knife.

Thing is, USPS has no idea what's going on and are no help as far as customer service. Some mail depots are overwhelmed right now and a trace package request just isn't going to happen.
Additionally, my customer service request not only suggested filing a claim, but also stated that my package weighted 'less than an ounce'. Bad advice and information all round.
I don't know if I would have received the package if I'd filed a claim as suggested, instead of giving it more time (a seemingly inordinate amount of time). But glad I just waited it out.

My story is unrelated to yours in all regards, and simply shared an experience concerning USPS service just recently.

GOOD LUCK !!!

Sent a knife sized package to Germany in Dec. just arrived this week.. 6 Mos!!!. patient buyer! USPS typical Government efficiency.....
