Lost the hump

I have a Griptilian with sheepsfoot blade. I carry it every day, and use it for everything...it works well and gets worked hard. I sharpen it every week or two.
I had to use it last fall to finish off a buck, that someone hit with a car. It was not a pretty sight, but it worked. It would have been better to have a blade with a more slender tip.
So...it lost the hump. I have used it every day in the months since, and it is better at everyday chores now.
I make fixed blade knives, so a small amount of grinding and weekly sharpening is no big deal.

I did something similar with a Benchmade Triage Just not that good. That’s good work!

I was going to do the same thing if I ever pulled the trigger on one. Its really not that difficult. I've done it with my Spyderco Pacific Salt already. Dremel and some sand paper is all you need.

Geez, I promised myself when I joined this forum I’d try my best to not ask a stupid question. I didn’t last long. What hump? I’m looking at my mini and I see no hump.

Feel free to do what my wife does. She just ignores me. Eventually, I go away.

In the top photo, look at the tip. Now from the tip, follow it along the spine towards the handle. Do the same thing on the bottom photo.
