Lot Number?

Hey guys,
i recently got a CRK small regular sebenza w/o box or papers
i looked inside the handle and it says "B 05"
any insight? does it mean born 2005, or does B=FEB? just a little confused. :D
thanks in advance for the feedback.
 
B 05 is the second batch or lot of Ti slabs produced in '05 as needed.
Nothing to do with month.
"Birth certificate" is basically final assembly date.
So a knife with an '06 certificate could have leftover '05 slabs.

cool thanks man, so it just means that the Ti slabs were manufactured in 2005.
 
i also took it apart to clean it and it had an S on the blade tang, what does that mean?
