Well, the CQC8 that I got here on BF finally arrived right before Thanksgiving. This is one bad knife! The first thing I did was put my skull clip on it and stuck it in my pocket. Here are some pics of it:

I don't know much about 8's but I guess the handles are sculpted. If any of the Usual Suspects can tell, please let me know. Also, how are you carrying your Banana? I have tried this one in waist band and its pretty comfortable. Thanks.

Sweet aquisition! Yep, your 8's handles are sculpted. Looks BADA$$!!!

I carry my double ground 2001 8 either in my right front pocket or sometimes in the left front pocket for reverse grip draw. The 8, along with the ES1-M are my favorites. AWESOME piece, ENJOY it in good health!

Snipe - quick question: how smooth/well does that 8 open? It might be the angle of the pic, but the wave looks kinda stubby - like it'd miss the edge of the pocket, or something. Do you find yourself having to work at waving it? I ask, because my SOCFK takes more thought and effort than my Commander does. Oh yeah, and because I'm gonna have one of those babies for myself soon, so I thought I should know what I was in for.

Well, since none of the current CQC8 owners is selling, this is the only banana I could find. Of course, it does have a 5" blade with the first top inch sharpened, too...
